DailyOM: What are the key benefits of learning about astrology? How can it be used in our daily lives?

Gina: People are most curious about learning astrology when they need guidance and direction. By studying your astrological chart, you may feel empowered to make choices or navigate challenging situations with a greater sense of clarity and purpose. This guidance isn’t limited to challenging situations. People also turn to astrology when looking for a compatible partner. Finally, knowing the energies of the elements and planets (and understanding and working with them) allows us to work with the natural flow of energies, as opposed to trying to push against them.

DailyOM: Tell us how this course can develop our intuition and our relationship with the universe. 

Gina: What is unique about this course is that there is a focus on the energies of the planets. Participants are invited to meditate with the energies of the planets, sun, and moon. This allows them to gain a better understanding of how the planets in their birth chart influences them. I establish my own connection with whichever tool I use (tarot, crystals, planets, and plants). My favorite expression is an ancient saying from the Asaro tribe in Papua New Guinea: “Wisdom is a rumor until it lives in the body.” 

Having your own connection with the planets allows you to build trust and confidence in your intuition and become your own authority. I am a huge believer in learning new things, but I also recognize the need to check-in with my own guidance for confirmation.
