Matthew Fox

Matthew Fox was a Dominican friar for 34 years and is now an Episcopal priest. He holds a doctorate in the history of spirituality from the Institut catholique de Paris and has written 28 books on spirituality and culture including major works on Thomas Aquinas, Meister Eckhart and Hildegard of Bingen and books on World Spiritual traditions. He has taught and lectured in Europe, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. He has been featured in the New York Times and on the Today show and is a recipient of the Courage of Conscience Award from the Peace Abbey, an award given the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa and Rosa Parks among others. His books have been translated into 42 languages and have received numerous awards.
