Anne Zachry

Dr. Anne Zachry is a pediatric occupational therapist with more than 30 years of experience and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology focused on infant mobility and tummy time. An Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, she is dedicated to empowering parents with evidence-based strategies to support healthy child development. Dr. Zachry is the award-winning author of Retro Baby and Retro Toddler, and her work has appeared in numerous parenting publications, including Pregnancy & Newborn, Babytalk, and Parents.com. Her research has also been published in national peer-reviewed journals, helping families and professionals better support early childhood development.
