Kettlebells: The Art of the Snatch, Clean, and Swing

If you're spending hours in the gym running on a treadmill, doing isolated muscle training, and maybe even yoga or stretch classes on top of it all, you're very likely wearing yourself out. You probably don't have a lot of free time either (sayonara social life!). The good news is that there is an alternative. Kettlebell training offers strength, cardio, and mobility training in one efficient and effective workout. By training dynamically and using the whole body as a unit with the kettlebell, you can shave hours off your training routine and cultivate greater whole-body fitness. No more running yourself ragged and wasting your precious time (and money) at the gym. You can pick up a kettlebell and experience a comprehensive workout with one tool, in only about a half hour three times a week. And with this course, you can do it in the comfort of your own home at your convenience. Winning!

Building Solid Skills and a Strong Foundation

In this course you will learn the six foundation kettlebell exercises and integrate them into a regular training program. You will first learn the skills for an exercise, and then you will spend that day's workout and the following two sessions solidifying the knowledge of that particular exercise before we move on to the next. The course builds on itself but you will still get a full workout program and its benefits.

What's included in this course:

  • 18 easy to follow beginner kettlebell workouts focusing on strength, cardio, mobility, stability and agility.
  • Intermediate Bonus Workout: A fun mix up to your workout if you want something a little different from time to time.
  • Advanced Bonus Workout: Learn ways to advance your kettlebell training utilizing chains, complexes, and double kettlebell work, and using heavier weight.

With this course you will learn the 6 foundation kettlebell exercises:

  • The Swings: Where it all begins and ends with kettlebell training. This is a powerful, ballistic exercise that helps with both strength and cardio training.
  • The Get-Up: The Yin to the Swing's Yang. This exercise can help support your mobility and daily movement.
  • The Clean: A transitional move, generally used to get a bell off the ground safely in order to do something else (such as press or squat).
  • The Squat: A basic human movement - we do it every day, so we might as well do it correctly! Maintaining squat mobility will make your day to day life easier.
  • The Press: Forget about crunches! This is a great abdominal exercise because if you are pressing heavy enough you won't be able to get the bell overhead without contracting your abs.
  • The Snatch: A slightly more advanced movement that supports increased activity level and can help build endurance and strength.

You will never outgrow the workouts in this course. Once you have mastered the techniques in this course you can always go back through and add weight or implement double kettlebell work. There are endless possibilities!

what people are saying

“As one of the leaders of Strongfirst, Delaine Ross knows her stuff. If you are new to kettlebells, her videos give you a great start into kettlebell training.
James
“[This] will give you a great workout and a thorough explanation of how to safely and correctly do the exercises. She takes her time properly explaining the correct technique and focuses on making sure you know what you are doing.
Pom
“This is a great program for anyone fairly new to kettlebells, particularly those without easy access to a certified trainer. Delaine's tutorial and form is nicely detailed without being overbearing. Frankly, this workout would probably work well for all levels, depending on how challenging your kettlebell is.
